En route to Parkend, Whitecroft will be developed in the future. Passengers are unable to alight at Whitecroft as the platform is largely missing and overgrown.
The picture above shows the view looking north, with the former platform adjoining the factory unit just visible in the distance, to the right of the picture.
The view north (on the right) is taken from the brakevan of a freight train hauled by 5541 as it crosses the road towards Parkend. The local store across the road next to the line, looks much as it did in pictures you can find of Whitecroft in historical archive books.
